In this series on healthcare and social disparities, Dr. Jill Wener, a board-certified Internal Medicine specialist, anti-racism educator, meditation expert, and tapping practitioner, interviews experts and gives her own insights into multiple fields relating to social justice and anti-racism. In this episode, Jill interviews Marisa Pyle, an anti-zionist organizer. They touch on topics of Marisa’s anti-zionism journey, activism, and strategies for successful coalition building.

Marisa is a Jewish Georgian who grew up in rural North Georgia. As an anti-zionist organizer, they are active with Jewish Voice for Peace Atlanta to build community and local power for Palestinian liberation. Marisa lives in Atlanta, and is a graduate of UGA.
